I really like this lightweight gel. It has a great hold and its not sticky. The smell is also good. Very good product for twist outs and it doesn't have a stinky smell.

It keeps the curls curly rather than frizzy. It makes styling a breeze.

I use it in combo with Just Gel to do coils in my hair and them two combined is great! It leaves my hair well moisturized and the gel gives it the right hold to last the style for more than a week. The smell is really earthy and it does have a spicy(in a good way) smell.

I had styling creams before, but none had given me moisture and the definition I wanted at the same time. I can honestly say I will be ordering the larger size jar of the lux locks. Its a miracle worker :)

Initially I didn't have any interest in this product, but when I received this as a free sample with my samples order, I became intrigued. I decided to apply the Lux Locs on top of the Everyday Leave-In and when I tell you this product MELTED into my hair, it M-E-L-T-E-D into my afro-textured 4 b/c hair! My hair was already pretty detangled after using the leave-in, so adding the Lux Locs just kept my hair even more detangled and definitely more moisturized. It's creamy but not too heavy which is perfect for the spring/summer time. It smells wonderfully sweet yet significantly less herbal than the pre-treatment & no-foam shampoo.
I will definitely order the 6oz. container of this product. Thanks for the free sample!

Three Sisters Beauty Supply in Plano, TX is where I found it. My hair is super dry and semi thick. The consistency when applying the product is kinda creamy/oily with a water base to it. However, I could see where this product was going to be my mainstay. I bought a $5 sample and tried it the minute I got to the car. I twisted the front of my hair in the parking lot, allowed it to dry a bit and took it down.
My hair was shiny, soft and totally revived from the dry, frizzy look I got after using coconut oil. My twists were so soft and the take-down was stunning.
Whatever ucuuba butter is....the combination of it and shea butter is a winning blend. Definitely worth the money for dry, frizzy natural locks.

I bought this sample about a year ago and I still have a little bit left in the container. And that is because I refuse to finish it all out, lol. I was worried if I would get the same results as the girls that did the review about this product, but I had the same great results. The shine and the definition that this product gave me was amazing. The smell is very natural and earthy but I got used to it after a while. I was able to get about three or so uses out of this sample product because a little goes a VERY long way.
