Apply liberally in sections to soaking wet hair (spraying to re-wet, if necessary), & smoothing with fingers or a comb. Do not rinse out! FOR CURLY HAIR: Spiral, twist or allow to air dry to define & smooth the natural curl pattern. FOR STRAIGHT HAIR: Finger twist hair in sections and loosely pin to secure while drying. Additional curl can he added with hot rollers or a curling iron

More is almost always better with this product, especially if you have lots of thick hair. This is what I use (almost every day) on my thick, course, very curly hair. I cocktail about two tablespoons-worth together with a little Hair Bling™, work it through my hair in sections and smooth out my curls with finger twists.

I have thick wavy hair and I can put this product in wet hair at night, wake up in the morning and NO STYLING is required to have great looking waves. Or I can use it in the morning, blow dry a little for great looking waves also. I haven't tried to use it for straight styles...I really like the Straight Up product for those.

Shape Shifter is easily my favorite product for my natural hair. I use it almost daily for my wash and go style. After conditioning I apply it in the shower while my hair is still soaking wet. I usually use my diffuser to speed up the drying process, but I prefer to let it air dry.
I get compliments almost every day. People constantly ask me what product I put in my hair to get the curl definition. It is always my beloved Shape Shifter!

After my wash routine, I applied SS then Just Gel followed by Hair Bling and I only used a fingertip amount of each to twist my hair.
When I finally took my twists down, after 5 days, the definition was amazing. The best twist-out ever in my two years of being natural. The fact that it defined my 4c hair with such clarity was remarkable. Oh, and I should mention that my hair was also moist.
This product will forever be in my stash.

I have naturally Curly/Kinky hair. If I had to type it, it would be 3B/C & 4A. I struggled with finding the right product for my twist-out styles. Some didn't have enough hold, others didn't have enough moisture. Shapeshifter is the perfect blend of hold and moisture! I've used it in hot & cold weather and everything in between and it always performs as expected. This product also give me tons of shine, which for natural African American hair is sometimes difficult. I have a billion different products and love trying new things and experimenting with different things. I always find myself going back to Shapeshifter when I need great hair. It's consistent and it's the best. Thanks you Original Moxie for this product! It really upgraded my hair!

This is a great product! I used it to create twists for a twistout on my natural 4A hair and loved it. Gave me nice hold, moisture, and CRAZY definition. My curls were so springy and plump. This will definitely be my go to product for twists. Thank Original Moxie for making awesome products.
