Apply liberally in small sections to clean, soaking wet hair (spraying to re-wet, if necessary), & smoothing through with fingers or a detangling brush. Work in small sections of 1” or less and follow with a Definer for best results.

This is a great styling product. I have 3b fine hair and this moisturizes and holds my curls. Doesn’t weigh my hair down at all. My hair has never felt so soft. Make sure to apply to soaking wet hair.

Revisited this product and I'm so glad I did! I tried this product many years ago while transitioning and couldn't figure out how to make it work. My hair felt good but my curls were not cooperating. Fast forward 8 years and now Shape Shifter is working for me. Back then, it wasn't the product, it was me having to figure out my hair and also finishing the transition. Shape Shifter is now one of my favs. Great moisture, nice soft hold, plump curls and decreased frizz. so glad I gave it another try.

We use this product as a detangler and moisturizer for "down" styles but we have also found that it is great for two-strand twists in high humidity months. This product doesn't contain glycerin and keep twists from poofing and losing the twist shape. We also use with hair bling to keep the twists from looking dull after a few days.

I have long coarse thick hair that is somewhere between curly and wavy. I use this product on wet hair after I wash it. I find that this product defines, detangles and moisturizes my hair. I like that it has a bit of a hold but is not stiff or crunchy.

I have 3c hair in some sections and 4c hair in others. This products moisturizes my entire hair evenly and my curls really are defined . I am able to wear just this and a leave in conditioner and hair feels soft and manageable after washing when I leave it curly. It can also be used on dry curls which for me is a huge plus.

This one product replaces 3 high end products I was using before. It gives my curls everything they need and doesn't dry them out.

I ordered a few items to try out this line and I am so glad that I did. This product in particular is one of my favorites. It really does reshape and reform my curls which I did not think was possible. I no longer feel compelled to have to wet or spray my hair as this product does wonders on dry hair (even layered on top of other products)... very pleased.
