  1. Holy Wow!

Posted by Jodi Manis on 29th Mar 2013

I must admit, I never would have purchased this product on my own. I am super busy and barely have time for a shower on a regular basis, let alone a "pre-treatment". Just another step to hassle with and it probably wouldn't do much anyway.
    WRONG WRONG WRONG!
I have NEVER used a product that caused such a transformation in the texture of my hair. I have very long, fine 3A curls with bleached, damaged ends. It's not totally fried, but it does feel a little crispy on the bleached ends.
Rachel included a sample of this in an order and I gave it a try. I slathered it on my ends, a little afraid of the thick texture, but open minded.
The first thing I noticed was the fragrance. I'm the crazy lady sniffing the shampoo at the grocery store because I am so sensitive to fragrances and cannot tolerate some heavily fragranced products so near my face. Emollience smelled WONDERFUL. After I finished with my hair, rubbed some into my cuticles and other dry skin spots because it smelled so good.
The next thing I noticed was that my hair soaked it all up in less than an hour.
After I washed my hair and let it air dry, I was absolutely amazed at how soft my crispy ends felt. And my hair was shiny all over!
And I found that it worked great as a styling product. My hair is so fine that it can be a little fly away. I rubbed a tiny dab of Emollience onto my damp hair and it added just the right amount of control to keep my curls smooth, soft and shiny. I had zero frizz and my hair did not feel greasy, slick, or stiff and didn't look oily in the least.
This product is amazing. It is totally worth the extra time and effort. I used every single last bit of my sample and am back to buy more.
Where have you been all my life, Original Moxie?!?

  2. The most amazing Pre-Poo EVER

    Posted by Heather-Elizabeth on 8th Mar 2013

I am an admitted Product Junkie and hair obsessed natural. I love my crown and I take great pride in finding the best, most natural, most effective, and most moisturizing products for my hair. Although I bounce around with alot of products to pre treat my hair before I wash it, I happened to take a chance and purchase two sample jars of emollience (I have a lot of hair and it is very very thick, 3C mostly ) to try out. As SOON as I began to put it on my hair, I could feel it softening and penetrating. I decided to hotbox it with an overnight baggie for maximum treatment. I kept it on for about 8-10 hours total, then sat down, ready for my usual 3 hour detangling routine. THIS TIME WAS DIFFERENT. For the first time, the VERY first time since I've been natural, I detangled, a DRY detangle at that, in about one hour and twenty minutes. However long Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol is. And that, is life changing in itself. I usually need to use water, oil, conditioner, my fingers, and a wide tooth comb to fully detangle my hair after 2 weeks, even though I keep it in protective styles mostly. To be able to detangle so quickly, with my fingers, and to feel the softness and pliability of my hair, was just, the best thing ever. After washing it out and continuing my routine, I was absolutely sold on this product and immediately purchased the full size that evening. I plan to snag the Oasis gel too, and try that combination. OM products work WELL. They do what they say they will do, and I haven't been disappointed yet. Now OM Emollience is part of my staple product line and as I keep trying other samples, I'm adding more OM to my must have stash, and you should too!

  3. THE MMMMOTHER OF MOLLLIENCE=EMOLLIENCE

Posted by Raveena on 9th Jan 2013

This is seriously the cream of the crop. Some would describe it as the ONE. But, you see that's the thing its not just "the one" because it does much much more than that. You can use this product for so many things, and honestly it perfects all it touches. Let me explain. Emollience is described as a "penetrating treatment" and yes that is what exactly what it is. Most buttery products like this just sit on top, but this goes below the surface to moisturize your strands. Not only can you use it as described on the package (as a pre- treatment), but you can use it afterwards as a leave-in/styler, add it to "cheapie" conditioners (and transform them into high-end conditioner results), but even if you put it on your strands the night before you wake up and find that your hair has absorbed them. Truly amazing, and to top it all off I love the scent. I would describe it as a sagey, and smokey but sweet scent-very mysterious. LOVE it.

  4. Great Pre-poo treatment

Posted by Shay on 30th Dec 2012

Works great for a pre-poo. I leave it on over night for extra conditioning and my hair is so soft to the point I do not want to wash it. Holy Grail status for me.

  5. Moisture, moisture, moisture!

Posted by Dionne on 30th Nov 2012

Great for my desert dry hair!

  6. Wonderfully Moisturizing

Posted by Tina on 21st Nov 2012

Emollience lived up to its name! It softened my hair and kept it soft and supple for over 3 days!

  7. Great for my ends

Posted by Shay on 13th Sep 2012

Didnt like this as a pre poo... loved it for my ends though.. moisturized for days...

  8. Excellent pre-poo treatment

Posted by Erica on 10th Aug 2012

This is not my first time using this product. I tried the moxie mini first before committing to the price. Not regretting my decision this product does exactly what it states. I do advise that if you have very thick hair try leaving in overnight especially if your hair tangles alot. I have used it overnight and let it sit 3 hours before washing. It worked both ways, but do to the thickness of my hair I prefer overnight method.

  9. Amazing!

Like a massage to the scalp and a replenisher to parched ends.
