This gel does more than a typical gel. It actually moisturizes your hair! I have 4a hair, and I was able to accomplish a wash and go with no other product in my hair. My hair clumped, and was more elongated after it dried than with other gels I've used. I also used it over lux locks for a roller set, and it was a-maz-ing!!!. A little goes a long way, so I feel like this products a very affordable because I used very little amount on my hair. You can tell when you use too much, your hair will feel sticky. My hair was defined without the crunch! give it a try!

I brought this product because it came highly recommended by other naturals with 4c hair. I thought this was going to be the best thing since sliced bread. This product dried my hair out , did not give my hair any type of hold, and made my hair limp and hardly any curl definition.
Rachel Says: "Just Gel contains flax seed extract, which is a film-former and could create a feeling of limpness and dryness if it is not able to penetrate into the hair. For low-porosity hair that resists film-forming products, we suggest you try Lux Locks for shine, curl definition, and hold."

I know this is a healthy gel for my hair. I put it on my sides and a tie a scarf around my head. Come morning nice and smooth. And I had a lil hair bling.

I honestly can't say that I see any 'amazing' results in my 3c hair...After a fresh wash session, and after all other products (leave-in,oil) I applied Just Gel and air dried. It didnt do much in the way of defining or clumping my curls, I noted that one side of my hair dried up rather frizzy despite having slathered on the product. While it made my hair a little crispy, I can't see this product "holding down edges" like other reviewers have stated unless you're tying your edges down with a scarf overnight after immediate use.
Rachel Says: "Though Just Gel does have a softer hold, any gel will have less definition and sticking power when applied over a leave-in and an oil. For maximum hold, apply alone on freshly washed and conditioned hair. "

This is a very good Gel... I barely recognize my hair .. I see defined twist and curls . I was not to happy with the price but i guess i guess i will just have to buy it again my hair loves it and my hair doesn't agree with a lot of products.. it is 4b, 4C

I have 3c hair and just couldnt get this product to work for me, until I tried it with my staple hair bling. Using just gel with hair bling as my sealer made my hair beautiful. My curls were soft and shiny. My style lasted for several days too. The big thing also, was that when I did go to restyle it with moisturizer and water it mixed well with all the other styling products I used, which says alot. I have plenty of products that you just cant combine other things on top of afterwards. This has never been the case with any Original Moxie product that I've tried. I think I may still prefer Shape Shifter but I like Just Gel for the warmer months when I am looking for something a bit lighter.

I just wanted to say i LOVE this product! I have 4c hair, and I bought the sample size along with the hair bling. I used it for a twist out with the hair bling over it and I have awesome curls that have shine and firm hold! I will be purchasing the full size as soon as I can! I am allergic to sooo many things, and I have never found a gel I could use. This one does not have those ingredients I am allergic to at all, and I am happy with the results!

Just Gel goes on light, has amazing hold and definition, great shine without the crunch and stiffness like other gels. Easy to apply, feels natural, leaves no residue.

I wet twist my natural hair and used this to help maintain the curl pattern and this gel was perfect. It didn't leave my hair hard or a white residue. It isn't smelly.
Just perfect. Curls lasted for several days.
