How to use it

Dispense a nickel-sized dollop of the Curl Basics™ Shampoo into your palms, emulsify it, and apply it to your wet hair in large sections, working from roots to ends. Reapply as needed to cover all of your hair and activate the foam. Distribute the product evenly throughout your hair, massaging it into your scalp to remove any buildup that may be present. Rinse thoroughly.
Dispense a nickel-sized dollop of the Curl Basics™ Conditioner into your palms, emulsify it, and smooth it into your wet hair in quadrants, focusing on the mid-shaft and ends of your hair. Distribute the product evenly, raking it through each section until no more tangles remain and the hair feels slippery and saturated. Add a small amount of water back into the hair and scrunch each section upwards towards the scalp. You should hear an audible 'squish'. Rinse thoroughly.
While hair is still soaking wet, apply the Curl Basics™ Leave-in as you did the Conditioner, smoothing it into each section and raking it through from roots to ends. As with the Conditioner, we recommend adding a small amount of water and scrunching the hair upwards towards the scalp until you hear an audible 'squish'. This helps to hydrate the hair, ensure even distribution, and fully activate your natural curl pattern. Follow with your usual defining product to lock in definition.
