Wet hair thoroughly and work shampoo through hair in sections, massaging it into the scalp and working through to the ends. For extremely dense, tight curls, we recommend applying the shampoo in sections to dry hair. Add water and massage into the hair, squishing upwards towards the scalp. Rinse thoroughly. I'm in love with this shampoo, it got my scalp and hair super clean and still left my hair moisturized. I have been searching for a shampoo that helps with my flaky scalp and this completely eliminated any flaking. My only negative is that I hate the smell but it doesn't linger so I still give the product 5 stars.

I have to admit when I used this the first couple of times I didn't really know what I was doing. Who would think to read the instructions for a cleanser, but the instructions are so on point. I section my hair and wet and smooth the Get clean through each section and my hair just easily detangles and I love it! it's so smooth and creamy. i love the herbal scent and when I rinse it out, no matter how much product I have in my hair it rinses clean and smooth, never dried out! I love this cleanser. Its really expensive in my opinion but i'll have to save for the liter size because this cleanser makes me happy. Thanks Rachel for giving us bigger sizes and more savings.

I' allergic to something in shampoos and conditioners. I've tried high end and drug store, low sulfates, organic, nothing helped and my head itched and had sores all over. I was getting desperate when I ran across this line. I bought the sample sizes just to try and within 2 days I ordered the full size Get clean and Intense Quench. The first day I noticed my head wasn't itching as bad and day 2 it didn't itch. I've been using this for a week and my sores are healing as well. It's such a blessing to find a product that cleans moisturizes and I'm not allergic too. If you have scalp issues order the trial sizes and give them a try. I also love that they ship ASAP!!! Very happy and telling all my co-workers about this line!!

I've been using this shampoo now for over 2 months. Cookie from Above Ground Hair Studio in Ann Arbor introduced me when cutting my naturally curly hair. Cleans and moisturizes.

I have a lot of wavy hair that gets dry and frizzy. This shampoo, which is the only no-foaming shampoo I've tried, helps keep my hair from getting dried out. Also, I color my hair red and this shampoo seems to keep the color better than other shampoos. The only down side is that I find myself using more of it than foaming shampoos and I really do have to wash every day, rather than every two to three days with foaming shampoos, so it ends up being a bit pricier than my old shampoo, but it's still worth it.

I pretty much gave up on shampoos years ago. I have been using cleansing conditioners ever since, but after having such great luck with other original moxie products, I decided to give it a try. I was absolutely amazed (but not surprised!) after I used this shampoo. My hair was so incredibly moisturized, clean, and I could easily detangle after washing it out. Hands down the best shampoo ever.

This is probably the first time I've ever taken the time to write a product review. I usually find at least one thing wrong with everything I try- well, not with this shampoo. It's HANDS DOWN the best shampoo I've ever used. i purchased the sample size to see if I wanted to make investment (yes $31 IS an investment for a grad student lol) and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. When i first tried it, i wasn't sure that it would be able to get all the coconut oil that I pre-pooed with out but I was pleasantly surprised. Not only did it cleanse my hair, but it also left it so soft and manageable. Detangling my course 4a/4b hair is usually a huge chore but not with this shampoo. Detangling is now much quicker and easier which has cause a tremendous reduction in breakage. I've now found my staple shampoo.

This is my first no foam shampoo I've tried, and I love it. No build up like with co-washing, no straw like dryness like with foam shampoo (no matter how natural it is). I will repurchase, my hair felt really cleansed and moisturized :)

Being something of a product junkie I have tried a lot of no-foam, sulfate free, natural shampoos and this is best no foam shampoo I have ever tried. Actually, I think it may be the best shampoo, never mind no-foam, on the market, period.
