Free Shipping on all retail orders extended through June 30th!

The COVID-19 Pandemic has dramatically impacted both our supply chain and order fulfillment logistics. Expect periodic product shortages and delivery delays. While we are still processing orders on our usual schedule, shipping times have increased. Based on our experience, USPS Priority and First Class shipping time can be doubled or tripled from the automatically generated estimated delivery dates. Please plan accordingly.

Because we have both wholesale and retail customers, whose shipping needs are vastly different from one another, we have created separate shipping policies for each group.  The differences are due primarily to the very unique conditions (such as average package weight and fulfillment schedules) that apply to retail vs. wholesale orders and are not intended in any way to favor one group over the other.  Please make sure that you read the policies that apply to you!

Retail Orders

It is important to us to provide our customers with delivery methods that are economical, reliable, and efficient.  To that end, Original Moxie offers our retail customers United States Postal Service (USPS) Priority, & First Class Shipping.  You may also select Fedex Ground if you prefer. In Store Pick Up is normally available for local customers, but has been suspended due to COVID-19. Which method is available to you will depend on your shipping address and the weight of your package.  All methods include tracking so that we can ensure that your package arrives intact and on time.

USPS has many advantages, not the least of which is their strong commitment to green practices.   With our biodegradable and recycled-content packing materials, you can rest assured knowing that your order is being shipped to you in a manner that is sustainable and environmentally friendly - just like our products.

We are happy to offer free shipping on all domestic retail orders over $65!  (Please note that this promotion is not available for international shipments due to the much higher cost of shipping those orders).  For qualifying orders, the Free Shipping option will appear as one of the available Shipping Methods. If you choose the free shipping option, the shipping method selected will be at the discretion of our Order Fulfillment team. Tracking information will be provided to you via email regardless of which method is selected.

For customers convenient to our store in Ypsilanti, Michigan, we are currently offering curbside pick-up as a shipping option. Pick up times are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4pm to 7pm.  It is very important that you wait for a notification that your order is 'Awaiting Pickup' before attempting to claim your package.   Once your order is marked 'Awaiting Pickup,' you can claim it during our curbside pickup hours.  The pickup location is 306 N. River St., Suite A, in Ypsilanti, MI 48198. Free parking is available in the lot adjacent to our building and on the street. When you park, please call Fran at 734.957.6659 and she will bring your order out to you. Click here for a map of our location.

We ship our retail orders out on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, with the exclusion of national holidays.  Orders received over the weekend will be processed the following Monday.  Though we will always pack and prepare retail orders for shipment within two business days, the speed of delivery will depend on your distance from our headquarters in Ypsilanti, MI, and the Shipping Provider and Method that you select. 

Domestic USPS Priority Mail packages generally arrive at their destination within 3 days and include tracking information so that you can monitor the progress of your delivery.  Please note that this is only a service standard - delivery dates are NOT guaranteed with Priority Mail and may, in some cases take up to 5 days.  

USPS First Class is slightly slower than Priority Mail, taking between 2-8 days from the date of shipment to arrive at their destination.  As with Priority Mail, this is a an estimated delivery time and is not backed by a guarantee to arrive by a certain date.

Yes we can!  Priority mail is actually a very economical option for shipping to these locations.  In general, delivery will take approximately 3 Days and will be comparable to Zone 8 (California) shipping rates.

We currently offer USPS shipping to the U.K. and Canada!  Prices and transit times will vary depending on your chosen method of transit and the contents of your order.  Please be aware that your order total and shipping charges will NOT include any VAT or Duties that Customs may require upon transfer of your package to the destination country.  Your Custom's Agency will alert you if further payment is needed in order for you to claim your package.

We use tracking information to provide you and us with real time information on the status of your order. If you believe that your package has gone missing, please follow these trouble-shooting steps before you contact Original Moxie Customer Service: 1) Log in to your account on originalmoxie.com and go to View Order Status. Click on the order you wish to track. The status of the order will be listed just below the order number and date. If it is marked as 'Shipped,' you can scroll to the bottom of the page to see a  tracking number. Click on the tracking to see if your package is still in transit or if a delivery was attempted but not completed; 2) Check your invoice carefully to ensure that you entered your shipping address correctly. 3) Speak directly with your local mail carrier (not your post office)and inquire whether he or she recalls delivering the package to your doorstep. Mail carriers are the best source of information and the easiest way to obtain detailed information on your delivery; 4)Packages are sometimes in an unexpected location, e.g. in the mailbox when you were expecting them to be at the door or vice versa. Inspect the entire delivery area and front and back doors (if applicable)to make sure your package is not hiding in plain site. If you have followed these recommendations and are still unsure of your delivery status, please email our Customer Service team at info@originalmoxie.com with your order number and any information you have regarding your attempts to verify the shipment address and delivery status of your order. We will contact you within one business day to assist you with your inquiry.

Wholesale Orders

We know that your customers expect prompt service and on-demand availability of styling  products.  That is why we have chosen FedEx as our shipper for wholesale orders over 10 lbs.  We generally ship orders under 10 lbs. via USPS Priority Mail.  Both providers offer reliability, competetive pricing, flexible shipping options and on-line order tracking, so you can follow your order from the moment it is shipped to moment it arrives.  Please note that FedEx can only deliver to a physical address, so we are unable to ship wholesale orders to a P.O. Box.
