Shape Shifter defines my tight curls, reduces frizz, and helps my hair retain moisture and elasticity particularly in the cold winter months! It is one of my go-to products.

I have very fine, curly hair that is extremely dry and as a result very frizzy. Original Moxie products have completely changed this.
I use Shape Shifter on wet hair after OMG and follow with Hold Up and Mane Tame. Shape Shifter gives my hair a ton of moisture without weighing it down or making it appear greasy at all, it simply melts into my hair leaving it super soft with relaxed curls.
I have medium length hair and as it's very fine, only use a small amount as too much will leave my hair greasy. So for fine hair I wouldn't recommend to "apply liberally" as suggested. This also means that the tub will last me at least a year if not more (I've transferred it into it's mini bottle as I also find it easier to distribute from a bottle rather than the tub as another reviewer said).

I was introduced to this product my curly girl hair stylist. Once she styled my hair using the product I was hooked and it instantly became one of my staple products. I have a 4b curl pattern and it's really hard for me to detagle and keep my hair moisterized. I also get a ton of fairy knots. I apply this product after I do a light detagle with my Deva Curl One Conditioner. This product is great with detangling!! GREAT! You just have to make sure you keep the product wet while you are detangling. Once I finish with my comb/finger detagle I allow the product to air dry. Depending on how much you use it may take several hours to dry, but it's totally worth it. Once dry my curls are springy and mosterized for at least a week. Another thing I love about this product is that when I wake up in the morning and my curls look like a pancake, I just spritz with water, hop in the shower with my hair uncovered, shake and poof my curls are happy and springy like magic! The water and steam reactivates the product. So I would recommend this product! If the price is making iffy you don't allow it to. It's worth the cost. Also, the descriptions says more is better, but for me because my hair is thin, less is better. One container lasted me about 4 months and I restyle once a week.

There is no delicate way to put this - I'm old. I'm old with long, curly hair. I live in a climate with brutal winters (cold and dry). When the cold started this year, I was having problems with frizz and lack of curl definition. My stylist recommended Shape Shifter. She used it on me and I loved it. I came home with a tub. It's great for giving me better defintion and hold. It also keeps my hair from drying out. In winter I have no choice but to blow dry. This product helps my hair look like I didn't use a dryer.

I absolutely love what Shape Shifter does for my hair. It's light, and I don't get flakes or product build-up. I also love that I can dampen my hair to "reactivate" the product the day after the initial application. My only gripe is that I wish it came in some sort of squeeze tube. The consistency of the product would definitely accommodate that method of use.

I loved shape shifter, at first. My go-to-product! but over the last 3 months it hasn't been the same on my same hair. At least, I think it the same hair, I haven't done anything differently. Recently, I ran out of shape-shifter and while I waited a week + to get more product, I used a this and that. When I did get shape-shifter the packaging was different, a black lid instead of silver. That did not seem to be the end of the changes! I am now looking for a new product. If you have any insight into this, like what changed, please let me know. TY

Nothing has changed other than the lid, so you may be experiencing a change due to weather conditions (extra humid or dry) or build up from the non-Moxie products you used in the interim. We would recommend that you try a clarifying treatment, deep condition and then use the Shape Shifter again.

This product coaxes the curl out of my multi-personality, sometimes straight and poufy, sometimes wavy, sometimes curly hair and leaves it super hydrated.

I have a 3c curl pattern, but my hair can be unruly and dry at times. After Co-washing I apply hair bling all over to seal the hair and I style with shape shifter. My hair is shiny and soft and beautiful. its the hair I always knew I had but couldn't get to come out. I love it!
